Visiting this website
Our server processes connection data needed to deliver and protect this website. Access logs contain the IP address, time, HTTP method, requested path without query parameters, response status and number of bytes transferred. User agents and referrers are not stored in these access logs. Error logs may contain technical errors and associated request data.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the reliable and secure operation of this website. Technical hosting providers may process this data as recipients when providing their services. Server logs are normally deleted within 15 days. Where a specific security incident occurs, necessary extracts may be retained until it has been resolved.
No advertising tracking
The public pages do not set cookies, use local browser storage or load analytics or advertising pixels. Fonts and graphics are served from our own server. There are no embedded external players.
Playing the instrument
Keyboard, mouse and touch inputs control the synthesizer and space animation entirely on your device. Sound is generated locally after you interact with the instrument. When you choose Record, the instrument keeps the notes you play in the current page session so you can build loops with separate parts. You can download your mix as a WAV file, save an editable session file or open a session from your device. These files are created and read locally. We do not request microphone access or send your notes, sessions or recordings to our server. Nothing is saved automatically; closing or reloading the page discards unsaved music and settings.
Contact
If you email us, we process your message and contact details to respond to your enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for enquiries relating to a contract, or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR with the legitimate interest of responding to your enquiry in other cases. We retain the information for as long as it is needed to handle the enquiry or comply with statutory retention requirements.
Your rights
Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation.
You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, particularly the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Baden-Württemberg.
We do not make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects.
